Lion

We did some revision on the typical features of a cheetah and leopard orally. Then, I bring in lion for the next sub-topic. The children learn some basic information about lion such as their weight, their speed, the name of their body parts like mane, paw etc. We also compared this information with cheetah and leopard.

The children also got to know that lion lives in a group called pride. There were about 1-5 lion, up to 15 lionesses and cubs in a group. The lions stay in their own territory most of the time.

We watched a video about lion today.
