Fruit Dipper Activity

Fruit Dipper Activity

The children were excited about today’s activity – fruit dipper. Most of the children had brought the ingredients that we needed – apple, banana, yogurt and cereal.

I have cut the amount of apples that we needed beforehand and soaked them into some salted water to prevent oxidize.
Before we start, I gave each group a small bag of coco-crunch so that the children could smash it into crumbs and they exchanged to get another bag of cornflake where they could do the same. Once they were done, I went to each table to demonstrate how they could dip the fruit into the yogurt and coat it with the cereals and some other cookies decorative.

Then I allowed each group to work on the fruit dippers while I cut some banana on the spot for them to work on it as well.


All the fruit dippers will be kept in the freezer to be eaten tomorrow.
