Dinosaurs and Flight

The children were quite interested to know about those dinosaurs that could fly. As most of the dinosaur that we had covered so far were those walking on land.

Today, we went through some information about dinosaurs that fly.

From the book, Archaeopteryx was the first bird. It is about the size of a crow. The children couldn’t imagine how small it is. Therefore, I got Bo En to stand up and we did a comparison of the dinosaur to Bo En. Then the children could somehow get the idea of how small it could be.

We shall carry on with more information about this flying creature tomorrow.

Before we ended the class today, we went through again of all those vocabulary we had learned.
