Stegosaurs

Besides Tyrannosaurus Rex, I noticed that children were quite interested with Stegosaurs as well. Most probably because it’s shape and body were quite unique. Therefore, today, we explored some basic facts about Stegosaurs.

Facts about Stegosaurs:-

-          It’s a plant eating dinosaurs

-          They walked on four legs

-          These dinosaurs had plates and spikes of bone growing out of their backs and along their tails

-          They lived during the Jurassic period

-          They have a very large diet.

Art and Craft: Stegosaurus

I printed out this worksheet from online. There were 2 parts on this worksheet. The stegosaurus that printed on one side was without the plates on its back. On the other side of the worksheets were triangles and pentagons. The children could decide which shape they wanted and cut it out accordingly.

The children pasted the stegosaurus with its plates completely on a piece of colour paper that I gave each of them. We shall continue a little bit more on this worksheet the next day.
