Lighter and Darker of colours

We continued with the comparison of colours yesterday. I put the wordings to the colours that we had coloured yesterday. The children can read the words and look at the colours clearly.

Then we had a discussion about the possible things that we can do by using golden colours.

Bee Chien: I want to use the golden dust.

Teacher: Yes, we can use that.

Yi Han: Can we do a crown?

Teacher: A crown. That’s a good idea.

Yi Han: I can draw something and cut it out and paste it to the crown.

Teacher: That’s a good one. Anyone can think of anything to decorate the crown?

Bee Chien: Golden glitter glue.

Wei Lok: Marbles. 

Therefore, children can try and find any materials at home that can decorate the crown tomorrow.

Video Sharing – Goldilock and The Three Bears

I played a video of the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears from youtube. Then we had a short discussion about the story before we end the class.
