Triceratops

Triceratops was a ceratopsians dinosaur. It lived in North America about 65 million years ago. It was one of the very last dinosaurs. After Triceratops there were no dinosaurs living anywhere on Earth.

Triceratops had a beak like a parrots. It used the beak to bite leaves off plants.

In between some discussion, the children mentioned about dinosaur eggs.

Art and Craft - Baby Triceratops hatched from an egg
Therefore, I printed out a picture of an egg with a baby triceratops. The children needed to colour their baby Triceratops and then they will stick the egg shells (I pre-prepared for the children) onto the egg shape. After that, they needed to arrange it in such a way that the baby Triceratops was hatched from the egg.

Most of the children only managed to colour their baby Triceratops and pasted the egg shells onto the egg shape. We shall continue with this art & craft tomorrow.
