Book Sharing – The Green
Caterpillar
This book is very similar to the “The
Very Hungry Caterpillar”. Only that this green caterpillar was eating the food
that most of the insects thinks he was not supposed to eat it. They always
chased him off. Finally he managed to find something that suits him – a leaf.
After that meal, he wrapped himself in a cocoon and transformed into a beautiful
butterfly.
After sharing the book, I get the
children to draw out their favourite fruits and vegetables.
After that, some of the children still
interested to work on the puzzle. Therefore, I gave them some simple puzzle to
work on. Most of them wait for their turn to play with the puzzle.
The children were reminded about the
Fruit Dipper activity tomorrow. If any of them needed to bring some more
ingredients for the activity tomorrow, they could do so.
