Book Sharing – How Many Seeds in a Pumpkin? (Part II)

We continued with the book that we had stopped some time ago. Today, we continued to read about how the children in Mr Tiffin’s class count the pumpkin seeds. The children were amazed when they got to know that Charlie who picked the smallest pumpkin has the most pumpkin seeds. Charlie, who was the shortest in the class, got to queue up as the first person. Charlie was happy.

From the book the children got to know that we needed a few things if we wanted to count the pumpkin seeds. The things that we needed are as followed:

-          a pumpkin
-          some old newspapers
-          a knife
-          some spoons
-          some bowls

We shall carry out this activity tomorrow.

Reading – Keeping Up to Date (1000 sentences of Today’s English) by Scott Ballantyne

-          1. At Home

-          2. Difference Kind of Eating
