Baboon

We revised on the information and facts that we learned about hyena yesterday.

On the other hand, I have also shared a story book with them - Cave Baby by Julia Donaldson and Emily Gravett. This interesting story book is about cave baby who loves to draw yet, his parents were quite annoyed with his drawing on the wall. However, when Mammoth brought him back to their cave, they enjoyed seeing his drawing on their wall. Cave baby is satisfied.

Then, we moved on to learn about baboon which is a kind of monkey that lives in Africa as well. We learned a few facts from the book, such as:

- there are five types of baboon - olive, Chacma, Guinea, yellow and Hamadryas.
- the common features of a baboon is that they have long muzzle that looks like the muzzle of a dog.
- They have powerful jaws
- they have rough skin on their bottoms which provide comfort while sitting.
- baboons live in troops which consist of 50 individuals
- they prefer to eat grass, berries, leaves, roots and bark.
- enemies: cheetah, leopards and human
