Happy, happy transportation – Float or Sink
Boat floats. Some
objects float while some sink. Today, I prepared 4 objects, a stone, a ball, a
paper clip and a bottle cap. Before we start, we had a short brief about what
is sink and float. Then, the children will predict whether the object will sink
or float. This is what we did.
| Let's feel the ball. Do you think it will float or sink? |
| I shall demonstrate it! |

The children were
very excited to know that their prediction was correct. As a result, I gave
them a task. They have to look for an object. It can be a toy, or any object
that they could find in the classroom and predict whether it will sink or
float.
