Book Sharing-How Many Seeds in A Pumpkin? (Part II)

We continue with the pumpkin seeds book. We left out on where the children in Mr Tiffin's class counted the pumpkin seeds. Then from then on, Charlie could queue up as the first children of the class as he is the shortest one yet his small pumpkin has the most seeds compared to the other 2 bigger pumpkins. 

The children were thrilled to know that our pumpkin's seeds has more than Charlie's little pumpkin. There were some other information about pumpkin at the back of the book. We covered that too. 

As of today, I also prepared a picture of a pumpkin for the children to colour. I planned to do some language activity after that. However, the children only got time to make some sentences and do the colouring today. We shall continue with this activity in the future. 

The sentences that the children had made for our future activity:

1) This is a pumpkin. 

2) The pumpkin is sweet. 

3) The pumpkin has a lot of seeds.
